FISCAL IMPLICATIONS There is no impact to the General Fund as a result of the Recommended Action. All costs for the Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Program are budgeted and accounted for in the Household Hazardous Waste Fund (Fund 0049). Funding is provided through a $2.60 per ton HHW portion of the AB 939 Implementation Fee on waste disposal in Santa Clara County. Participating cities pay the County costs exceeding the HHW portion of the AB939 Implementation Fees.
