Race and Health Disparities Community Board COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS The work plan for the Planning Commission was received at the August 20, 2026 meeting of the Housing, Land Use, Environment, and Transportation Committee (HLUET) (Item No. 4), and forwarded to the Board of Supervisors. The work plans for the Health Advisory Commission and the Race and Health Disparities Community Board were received at the August 19, 2026 meeting of the Health and Hospital Committee (HHC) (Item No. 11), and forwarded to the Board of Supervisors as part of the Consent Calendar. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS There is no fiscal impact regarding acceptance of the work plans. However, the work plans reflect activities that may have associated costs. To assist in meeting its goals, the Commission has three standing committees; acute and chronic disease and related issues; emergency medical services; and maternal, child, and adolescent health issues.
