Throughout a distinguished career, she demonstrated an unwavering commitment to serving the families and children of Santa Clara County while advancing through positions of increasing responsibility and leadership. Stacy began her career with the County of Santa Clara as a Typist Clerk at the Department of Mental Health. She was quickly promoted to Advanced Typist Clerk with the District Attorney’s Office in November of 1998, then to Legal Clerk and Family Support Officer I. Through her dedication and exceptional performance, she was promoted to Child Support Officer II, Senior Child Support Officer, Supervising Child Support Officer, and ultimately Division Manager in the Legal Division of the Department of Child Support Services (Department), where she concluded her career; WHEREAS, Stacy Thurber demonstrated exceptional leadership and adaptability while supervising Team 6 in the Enforcement Division.
