COMMENDATION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SANTA CLARA FOR ROBERT SACASA WHEREAS, Robert Sacasa retired from the County of Santa Clara’s Social Services Agency (SSA), Department of Employment and Benefit Services (DEBS), after more than 37 years of exemplary service dedicated to improving the lives of the residents of Santa Clara County; WHEREAS, Robert served DEBS in a wide range of key roles throughout his distinguished career, including Eligibility Worker, Senior Training and Staff Development Specialist, Program Manager I, II, and III, and Assistant Director. His professional journey demonstrates both deep expertise and a consistent ability to innovate, motivate, and lead teams through complex organizational change. From his earliest leadership roles, Robert excelled at developing and implementing impactful change-management strategies; WHEREAS, Robert was repeatedly entrusted with projects of the highest importance to SSA, DEBS, and the community.
