FISCAL IMPLICATIONS There is no new fiscal impact to the General Fund resulting from the recommended action. In Fiscal Year 2024-2025, the Board approved an inter-fund General Fund loan of $300,000 to the Airport Enterprise Fund. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION AND BACKGROUND At the June 11, 2024 Board of Supervisors Budget Hearing (Item No. 56), the Board approved an inter-fund loan of $300,000 from the General Fund to the Airport Enterprise Fund (AEF) to fund a study of possible future land uses on the Reid-Hillview Airport site. RESOLUTION NO. ----RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SANTA CLARA REAUTHORIZING AN INTER-FUND LOAN FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE AIRPORT ENTERPRISE FUND WHEREAS, on December 12, 2023, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Santa Clara ("Board") approved a project relating to planning and outreach for the future use of the current site of Reid-Hillview Airport ("Project"), to be overseen by the Office of the County Executive and the Roads and Airports Department ("Department"); WHEREAS, the Project has an anticipated total cost of over $300,000; WHEREAS, on June 11, 2024, the Board allocated up to $300,000 from the General Fund to the Department's Airp ort Enterprise Fund (AEF) to pay for the Project and adopted Resolution No. BOS-2024-76 establishing the terms of an interfund loan between the General Fund and the AEF; WHEREAS, the Department maintains the AEF to fund operations and capital improvements at the County Airports, including certain airport planning projects; WHEREAS, the Board desires the Project to be funded from the AEF to the extent such payments are consistent with all applicable legal and contractual obligations; WHEREAS, a loan from the...
