County of Santa Clara Roads and Airports Department 128010 A DATE: April 28, 2026 TO: Governing Board of the Santa Clara County Sanitation District No. 2-3 FROM: Harry Freitas, Director, Roads and Airports SUBJECT: Sanitation District 2-3 FY 2027 Assessments RECOMMENDED ACTION Authorize the Clerk of the Board to set Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at no earlier than 10:00 a.m., as the date and time for a hearing to consider protests and objections to County Sanitation District No. 2-3 sewer service charges to be collected on the County Tax Roll for Fiscal Year (FY) 2026-2027 and adopt Resolution approving Sanitation District No. 2-3 assessments for FY 2026-2027. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS There are no impacts to the County General Fund. Sewer service charges are collected via the County tax roll each fiscal year. The net proceeds to be collected by the District will be approximately $4,257,138. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION Conducting a public hearing on June 2, 2026, will give all persons an opportunity to be heard relating to comments, protests, and objections to the sewer service charges being collected on the County Tax Roll for Fiscal Year 2027.
