COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS The work plan for the Airport Land Use Commission was received at the June 25, 2026 meeting of the Housing, Land Use, Environment, and Transportation Committee (HLUET) (Item No. 4), and forwarded to the Board of Supervisors. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS There is no fiscal impact regarding acceptance of the work plan. However, work plans reflect activities that may have associated costs. Acceptance of the work plan does not imply authorization for such costs. The Commission will submit separate requests for authorization of any expenditure. These plans and policies are also intended to minimize the public's exposure to safety hazards and excessive noise and to ensure that the approaches and departures to public-use airports are kept free of obstacles (structures, wires, vegetation, etc.) that could pose an aviation safety hazard.
