Rosen, District Attorney SUBJECT: Sponsorship of Silicon Valley Pride 2026 RECOMMENDED ACTION Approve County sponsorship of the Gay Pride Celebration Committee of San Jose dba Silicon Valley Pride in the amount of $775 from the Office of the District Attorney Fiscal Year 2026-2027 budget, to support the 2026 Pride Festival and Parade. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS Approval of this action will have no impact on the General Fund, as the expenditure will be made from the Asset Forfeiture Proceeds Fund (Fund 336). Sufficient funds are available in the District Attorney’s Office 2026-2027 Adopted Budget for that fund to cover this expense. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION The Silicon Valley (SV) Pride Parade and Festival is an annual, local celebration of the LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, plus other diverse gender identities and sexual orientations) community.
