(Arenas) FISCAL IMPLICATIONS There is a one-time cost of $5,000. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION The grant in the amount of $5,000 is proposed by Supervisor Arenas to be used in support of celebrating Vietnamese culture through community events. If approved, this funding will support general event costs for community events including Vietnamese New Year’s Flag Raising Ceremonies, Black April, the Celebration of Republic of Vietnam Armed Forces Day, Veterans Day Parade, Memorial Day, summer picnics for veterans, and other promotional expenses.
