REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION The grant in the amount of $35,000 is proposed by Supervisor Arenas to be used in support of elevating wineries in Santa Clara Valley through wayfinding signage updates and expanding agritourism in Santa Clara County. Today, the Santa Clara Valley is home to over 50 wineries of every size and shape, from long-established century-year old family operations to relatively small newcomers.
