REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION The grant in the amount of $500 is proposed by Supervisor Arenas to be used in support of the San Jose Garden Club in their work to help beautify our surroundings in South San Jose. This grant will allow the Club to perform trimming, weeding, and trash disposal as well as support the purchase of fertilizer, ties, wood chips, and plants to keep the landscape fresh and vibrant.
