County of Santa Clara Office of Supportive Housing 127959 DATE: April 14, 2026 TO: Board of Supervisors FROM: Kathryn (KJ) Kaminski, Director, Office of Supportive Housing SUBJECT: Sponsorship for Affordable Housing Month RECOMMENDED ACTION Approve County sponsorship of SV@Home in the amount of $10,000 from the Office of Supportive Housing Fiscal Year 2025-2026 budget, to support Affordable Housing Month 2026. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS The recommended action would have no new impact on the County General Fund. There are sufficient funds in the Office of Supportive Housing’s (OSH) Fiscal Year (FY) 2025-2026 budget to cover the sponsorship amount of $10,000. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION Silicon Valley at Home (SV@Home) will host Affordable Housing Month 2026 (“AHM 2026”) in May. The theme for AHM 2026 will be “#AllInForHousing,” a reflection of what it truly takes to build a community where everyone can afford to live and belong. Being “allin” means choosing proven, long-term housing solutions; listening to people with lived experience; and strengthening the partnerships that turn shared values into lasting impact.
