FISCAL IMPLICATIONS There is no net fiscal impact to the General Fund associated with the approval of the recommended action. If the grant is awarded, the Office of the District Attorney (DAO) will return to the Board with recommended budget actions for approval, with the anticipation that additional revenues would be offset by additional expenditures. The grant requires a matching component, which would be met through an attorney position assigned to human exploitation that is funded by the General Fund.
