WHEREAS, Kids in Common, a program of Planned Parenthood Mar Monte, has long served as a leading WHEREAS, Kids in Common convenes diverse stakeholders-including educators, youth leaders, nonprofit partners, government agencies, and community advocates-to ensure that children's needs remain at the center of local decision-making and public investment; WHEREAS, the 2026 Children's Summit brings together leaders from across Santa Clara County to focus on the challenges and opportunities facing young people today, including mental health, education, safety, equity, and access to essential supports; and WHEREAS, Kids in Common's leadership, in hosting the 2026 Children's Summit, reflect an unwavering dedication to building a county where all children are valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Santa Clara does hereby recognize and commend Kids in Common on the occasion of the 2026 Children's Summit, for its steadfast commitment to championing the well-being of children and youth throughout our community.
