WHEREAS, WHEREAS, for decades, SARC has worked in partnership with families, service providers, community organizations, and state and local leaders to advance the rights, dignity, and well-being of individuals with disabilities; WHEREAS, the annual Legislative Luncheon convened by San Andreas Regional Center provides an important forum for dialogue among policymakers, self-advocates, families, and service partners, fostering shared understanding and collaboration on issues that directly impact the disability community; and WHEREAS, the Legislative Luncheon elevates the voices of irtdividuals with disabilities, highlights the challenges and opportunities within the service system, and strengthens relationships that are essential to building a more inclusive and equitable region. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Santa Clara does hereby recognize and commend San Andreas Regional Center on the occasion of its Legislative Luncheon, for its leadership, commitment to collaboration, and ongoing work to uplift and empower individuals with disabilities throughout our community.
