W HEREAS, WHEREAS, SJCC has long been recognized as a leader in innovative, equity-driven career education, offering programs that prepare students for high-demand fields across the region's dynamic economy, including healthcare, advanced manufacturing, technology, public safety, and the skilled trades; WHEREAS, the Career Education Complex was made possible through the vision and collaboration of SJCC leadership, faculty, staff, students, industry partners, labor organizations, and community advocates who share a commitment to building a more inclusive, resilient, and opportunity-rich region; and WHEREAS, the new Career Education Complex represents a transformative investment in the future of San Jose City College and the broader South Bay community, providing state-of-the-art classrooms, labs, maker spaces, and hands-on training environments that reflect the real-world settings students will enter as professionals.
