W HEREAS, Alex T. Nguyen began his journey in Scouting America at age nine as a Webelo with Pack 275 in San Jose before crossing over to Troop 264; WHEREAS, Alex T. Nguyen's leadership journey as a Scout includes roles as Patrol Leader, Scribe, Historian, Troop Guide, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, and as Senior Patrol Leader leading a troop of 80 members in Santa Clara County; WHEREAS, Alex T. Nguyen has experienced several summers of Scouting America camps, and almost I 00 nights of camping, and has performed many hours of community service participating in projects such as coastal clean-up efforts, packing hygiene kits, and assisting in multiple Eagle Scout projects for fellow Scouts; WHEREAS, Alex T. Nguyen's Eagle Scout service project involved building a new trail signboard for Mt. Madonna County Park at the Sprig Day Use Area entrance to replace the deteriorating original sign. The new signboard will provide information and guidance about navigating park trails for the thousands of visitors who come to Mt. Madonna County Park every year; and WHEREAS, Alex T.
