FISCAL IMPLICATIONS There is no fiscal impact to the General Fund. Adopting the Resolution will allow the County to receive approximately $35 million in Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA) funding in Fiscal Year (FY) 2026-2027, which is included in the County Executive’s FY 2026-2027 Recommended Budget. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION Prior to receiving the apportionment of RMRA funds from the State in FY 2026-2027, the County must submit a list of projects proposed to be funded by July 1, 2026 to the California Transportation Commission (Commission). All projects proposed to receive funding must be adopted by resolution of the Board of Supervisors at a regular public meeting (Streets and Highway Code Section 2034(a) (1)).
